Valentine's Day

Dave's Handmade Scrapbook Yes, it is a little late to be writing about Valentine's Day. However, due to being in Santa Cruz, I only received the wonderful gift Dave sent when I got back. And even then, I had to go collect it which only happened a few days later. So, that is why I am only writing about the gift now! Dave sent me the best gift possible!! First of all, I love mini eggs. And I love dark chocolate. So Dave sent me some dark chocolate mini eggs!! I still haven't decided if I like them or the milk chocolate ones better (it's a tough choice!). He also sent me a headset, because the mic that came with my webcam doesn't work properly. And finally, and best of all, he made a scrapbook (See photos) of pictures of us from various events and travels. If any of you know of the cards that people are making these days, or of scrapbooking then you will know what I am talking about. It must have taken him hours and hours. I love it!! Whenever I flip through it, it makes me smile :) Thanks Dave!!!

Hi Meg,
What a fabuous gift that Dave prepared for you! He is one considerate guy; he even spent time painting at Cam's place. Now that is true devotion!!

And he did it all!

He really did it all by himself! He came down to Belleville to work on it at my place and I was all stressed because I thought he would need so much help... but we went to the scrapbook store, he picked out all of the papers and embellishments, and then when we got back to my place and he went to it! It took two days, and I was mighty impressed with the results myself!
Sounds like you are enjoying yourself and learning tons! We miss you!

I just wanted to thank Meg as well, she sent me a great gift for Valentine's Day. She sent me a homemade card, a couple pairs of underwear :D, a mini car (refer to her Alasitas post) - it's a red two door (I think that's a sign! ;) and a set of notes that I can read when I'm missing her. Very sweet, thanks love. :*
